- Mexican Onyx Set -
This is a common heavily French influenced Mexican Onyx set, 1.5" kings, 20th century.
The carving quality is hit or miss on these sets. I've seen several sets with much rougher carving than this one, so I think I have a good example.
There is absolutely nothing special about these sets, but I do think they're charming.
The carving is particularly sharp on this set considering the small size.
